ABOUT DRIFTER'S HAMBURGERS

Drifter’s Hamburgers was founded in 2008 on a pretty simple premise:  create a world class hamburger franchise system that doesn’t cost a fortune to develop.  We were able to cost-effectively retrofit a former Taco John’s restaurant with just a modest investment.  Instead of taking on debt for an expensive décor’ package, we offset the buildout costs with an emphasis on food quality.  We believe that just because you’re taking your family out for a hamburger doesn’t mean that you need to be pounded with added hormones, antibiotics and GMOs.  We believe that our food, our animals and our soils should be managed using sustainable, humane practices that promote the long-term health of rural communities.  We seek sustainably managed products to use, if at all possible.   We believe people truly care about what they eat and where their food is produced.
